How to order? The Textile Museum Shop offers 100's of books and other merchandise related to rugs and textiles. Browse through our selection. When you find something you'd like to buy, go to the product's individual page and click "Add to Basket." This places the item in your shopping basket.
Go to "View Your Basket" -- which takes you to your shopping basket. Here you can see what you've ordered. You can also change the quantity of any item in your order by changing the number in the "Quantity" column and then click the Update icon. If you would like to delete the item, click the Delete Product from the basket icon under Update.
When you're ready to pay for the items in the shopping basket, click "Check Out." Your order will not be final until you have gone completely through the "Check Out" process and click "Confirm."
Orders will be filled upon receipt. Allow 5 to 7 business days for domestic delivery. Memberships take 10 to 15 business days to process. If any items are on backorder or unavailable, you will be notified via email. All orders will be confirmed when they have been sent and you will receive an email with a confirmation number.
Credit Card/Payment Options We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Once you have selected merchandise to purchase and are ready to Check Out you will need to enter your credit card information in the fields provided and select the credit card type from the dropdown menu. Please do not use spaces or hyphens to separate the numbers of your credit card. Click "Next" to transmit your order.
You may also pay by check or money order when placing an order by regular mail. Please make your check or money order payable to "The Textile Museum." Checks must be in United States dollars and drawn on a United States bank. Please do not send cash or international money orders.

Shipping and Handling Charges The Textile Museum's standard shipping is via United Parcel Service (UPS Ground). Please note, if you have a P.O. or A.P.O. address your order will be shipped via US Mail. All domestic orders are insured. Shipping charges are calculated automatically for each order depending on the address and the total merchandise cost. If you would like to choose another method of shipping please mark the appropriate box on the Check Out form. If you choose another shipping option your order will be incomplete until a Textile Museum Shop Online representative emails you to confirm.

International Shipments and Orders to Alaska and Hawaii We can process orders and ship to almost anywhere. Customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties or taxes. If insurance coverage is desired, please indicate on the Check Out form. If insurance is not requested, The Textile Museum will not be held responsible if shipment does not arrive or goods are damaged. Please note that shipments to some countries cannot be insured.
Be sure to check the box for International/Hawaii/Alaska orders under shipping and handling on the Check Out form. Proceed through Check Out.
Sales Tax The Textile Museum Shop collects applicable sales tax for orders shipped to addresses in the District of Columbia. The sales tax on items purchased in the District is 6 %.

Return Policy We offer an exchange or return by original payment method on regular priced merchandise with a receipt within 15 days. Shipping and handling cost are non-refundable. Earrings are not retunable due to hygiene reasons. Mail return item(s) must be package carefully and enclosed with a copy of the original receipt/invoice. Cash and check refunds will be issued a check within 2 weeks.
